Farmhand on Hove Farm on Group Settlement 34 in Busselton [50] and did a mechanics course by correspondence [P477]
Resided in Busselton until enlisting in the Royal Australian Air Force in Perth on 12 November 1940 [16]
He trained in the Australian states of Victoria and Queensland [P477]
Leading Aircraftman 29263 in the Royal Australian Air Force's Air Gunners School during the Second World War [16]
Discharged from the Royal Australian Air Force on 4 December 1943 [16]
Married Beryl GREGOR in 1943 at Scot’s Church in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia [P477]
Along with his wife he returned to Western Australia [P477]
Initially had a cream business in Cowaramup, just north of Margaret River [P477]
They then purchased 150 acres at Busselton and ran a dairy farm and later had sheep [P477]
Joined the Agriculture Protection Board (APB) as an officer and worked in Perenjori for six years and then Coorow for seven [P477]
He and his wife resided at 106 Livingstone Street, Perenjori and then at 6 Bristol Street in Coorow [19] [P477]
Member of the Coorow Returned & Services League and regularly played billiards with Clem BROUN and Fred WOOTTON [P477]
