"Mr and Mrs Barth Burns, of Goroke, Victoria, take pleasure in announcing the engagement of their second daughter, Mary Rose, of 8 Bay Road, Claremont, to Trevor W. Birch, of Myrtle Valley, Maya, eldest son of Mr and the late Mrs C. J. Birch of 16 Saladin Street, Swanbourne."
