"Mr. and Mrs. Con Sheahan, after 25 years association with the district, will be leaving Carnamah shortly. Their future plans are somewhat indefinite, but they may purchase a business if a suitable opportunity occurs. Mr. and Mrs. Sheahan came from Victoria about 1907 and after taking up land at Brookton and Geraldton, settled in the Arrino district remaining there on the farm for 18 years. Having sold this property (which is now occupied by the Mutter family), Mr. and Mrs. Sheahan lived in Perth for a couple of years before taking up property at Inering. This they sold a year later and five years ago bought their present property. This has been leased to Mr. C. Baker, of Winchester, who took up residence on the farm early last week. About eight years ago Mr. Sheahan bought the freehold of the Three Springs Hotel, which was on lease to Mr. MacDonald. On being ordered by the licensing court to rebuild, and being unable to obtain the lease, Mr. Sheahan disposed of it to Mr. Barnhart, who erected the present building, adopting, with some modification, plans prepared by Mr. Sheahan.
