Alfred had a shotgun and he and Walter small bore rifles, and after shooting rabbits and parrots they went to a dam for water [86]
While Alfred's gun was on the ground it discharged, having possibly been knocked, and shot Walter in the buttuck [86]
He ran to Mrs Minnie M. WATSON's farmhouse and she returned with him to rush him to Three Springs for medical attention [86]
