On 14 January 1926 the contract to purchase the 1,241 acres was transferred solely into Dick READING's name [27]
Departed Fremantle, Western Australia on the steamship Jervis Bay and arrived in Southampton, England on 10 August 1929 [204]
Following his arrival his intended address was 232 Ardgowan Road in Lewisham, London, England [204]
His small book titled "Key to Pitman's Shorthand Manual by Sir Isaac Pitman is now at the Carnamah Museum [432]
The inside of the book contains two names - "D. Reading" and his "H. W. Thomas" and the note "Not to be pinched" [432]
