Married Sarah Godwin CLINCH on 26 April 1858 at Saint Margaret's Church in Woodville, South Australia [55]
Resided with his wife and children at various locations in Victoria, Australia from the late 1850s and in the 1860s and 1870s [15]
By 1903 he had shifted to Western Australia [50]
Labourer of Moora Larry Farm in Mingenew in 1903, and later a Bacon Curer of Grant's Paddock in Yandanooka [50]
Farmer in Three Springs in 1909 and 1910 [50]
He was a Butcher by trade, although he may have been retired by the time he was in Three Springs [151: page 157]
Passed away on his son Gilford's Morningside Farm in Three Springs [151: page 157]
While his funeral procession was en route to the chosen place of burial the buggy became bogged so he was instead buried there [151]
Father of four sons - Edward Henry Clinch, Gilford, Charles Bertram and George Frederick [15]
Father of seven daughters - Susan Adelaide, Florence Maude, Alice, Elizabeth Alice, Minnie Newman, Emma Lily and Mabel [15]
