He was a very skilled mechanic and was considered to be a true Craftsman in Mechanics [P100]
Resided in a house in Parker Street, Carnamah [P4]
In his spare time he often travelled around the State competing and sometimes winning rifle shooting competitions [P100]
Had a khaki army style hat with a Morawa Rifle Club hat band and with 18 rifle club badges attached [P100]
Three of his hat badges were from the Western Australia Rifle Association [P100]
The other 15 hat badges were from the following rifle clubs: Armadale Byford, Ballidu Districts, Bindoon, Busselton, [P100]
Chapman Valley, Corrigin, Cue, Dongara, Geraldton, Mingenew, Mullewa, Northampton, Three Springs and Yalgoo [P100]
He was very well respected by his workmates, the farmers whose machinery he serviced and his employers [P100]
Resided in Carnamah until his death in 1990 [2]
Died 11 August 1990; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Baptist, AA, 230)[2]
Terrance R. and Elizabeth WALTON donated his rifle hat and all of his badges to the Carnamah Museum in August 2005 [P8]
