Married Cecilia May JACKAMARA in 1928 [66] [P279]
Resided with his family at the Moore River Settlement and following its closure shifted to Moora [P279]
Around 1953 shifted from Moora to Carnamah with his wife, some of their children and his brothers Henry and Leo [P279]
In 1954 and 1955 was working as a Labourer and residing at the Native Camp in Carnamah [22]
Later built a house and bough shed in Carnamah out of what materials were available to him [P279]
His house was situated in bush west of the railway line and south of the Carnamah townsite [P279]
Along with his brothers Henry and Leo, and his sons Freyner and Godfrey, made up a shearing team that shore in Carnamah [P279]
He owned a brown Dodge car and also a large truck for transporting his family and to use when shearing [P279]

Died 27 July 1961 in Carnamah; buried at the Moora Public Cemetery in Moora, Western Australia (Roman Catholic, Plot 63) [116]
