The 3,001 acres was Lot M1779 of Victoria Location 2023 and cost £1125.7.6 (7/7 per acre), payable by instalments [27]
The property had been taken up as virgin bush by Maurice H. ANCLIFFE and Robert J. V. CAVE in 1928 [27]
The farm was situated on the north side of the Caron Road and was in Perenjori but on its boundary with Carnamah [61] [62]
Although his farm was in Perenjori he was "of Carnamah" in regards to mail, shopping and community involvement [P76]
