His farm was the 490 acre Lot 21 of the Dudawa Estate, and by 1912 had been extended with the 283 acre Victoria Location 3563 ^[44]

Formed and gravelled part of the Midland Road in Three Springs for the Upper Irwin Road Board for £3 per chain in 1910 ^{[9: 5-Aug-1910]}
Did further contract gravelling in Dudawa for the Upper Irwin Road Board in May 1911 for £3 per chain ^{[9: 28-Apr-1911]}
In 1914 grew 300 acres of crop on his farm in Dudawa ^{[10: 19-Jun-1914]}

Two weeks later sold one cow at £6/17/6 and one heifer at £2/17/6 through Elder Smith & Co Ltd at the Midland Market ^{[5: 23-Oct-1936]}
In February 1937 he requested with the Under Secretary for Lands that Reserve No. 2326 be thrown open for selection ^{[5: 5-Mar-1937]}
The matter was referred onto the Three Springs Road Board who withheld consideration until they'd spoken to him ^{[5: 5-Mar-1937]}
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Kenwick ^[2]
