Travelled from Fremantle to Latham by train where he had secured a job with farmer "Old Joe" Joseph J. AGUILAR [7: page 167]
On arrival in Latham he was met by Eric F. JUST who also worked for Old Joe [7: page 167]
Worked on Joe's farm in Latham where he among other tasks checked on horses, drew water from the well and did fencing [7: page 167]
His wages were 25/- per week with food however he hadn't been paid and was owed £70 so left Joe's employment  [7: page 167]
Farmhand for "Ted" Edward MONK in Latham for about six weeks, during which time Joe paid him £75 [7: page 168]
Farmhand for "Bert" Herbert T. FOX in Latham for six years [7: page 168]

Shifted to Coorow around 1934, after working in Latham for eleven years [7: page 168]

Around 1943 began working for Co-operative Bulk Handing as a Bin Attendant at the wheat bins in Coorow [7: page 168]
Later relocated to Winchester where he worked on the wheat bins for 17 years[7: page 168]
When he shifted to Winchester his wife remained living in Coorow [P8]
On retirement as a bin attendant purchased a house in the Winchester townsite from Charles CHAPMAN [7: page 169]
Resided at 1 Penang Street in the Winchester townsite [19]
Caretaker for the Midland Railway Company of the railway yards in Winchester[7: page 169]
Later resided at 1 Railway Avenue in the Carnamah townsite [19]
Resided in Carnamah until 23 July 1973 when he moved to the Lady Brand Lodge in Three Springs [7: page 169] [147]
He was one of the first twelve residents to move into the then brand new Lady Brand Lodge [7: page 169]
Resided at the Lady Brand Lodge in Three Springs from 23 July 1973 until 21 February 1983 [147]
Father of Ivy, Walter, Richard, James and Phyllis [P246]
Died 6 June 1990; buried Utakarra Cemetery, Geraldton WA [26]
