On 11 November 1939 was driving a utility truck from Winchester to Carnamah [88]
     One mile south of Carnamah the truck ran into a bank on the side of the road and overturned four times [88] [0: image 03023]
     Himself and his passengers were taken to the Three Springs Hospital however had amazingly escaped serious injury [0: image 03023]
     His injuries were stated by Dr M. A. MAYRHOFER to be an injured shoulder, cuts, bruises and suffering from shock [88]
     His passengers, A. W. PRIOR of Carnamah and Ernie THOMAS of Coorow, had cuts, bruises and were suffering from shock [88]
As he wasn't licensed to drive a truck he was issued with a summons to appear before the Carnamah Police Court on 21 November [22]

Could be the William BUTLER who was born in New Norcia and was of "No Fixed Abode" in 1948 [22]
      That William BUTLER was arrested in Waddy Forest on 15 September 1948 having no visible lawful means of support [22]
      After appearing before the Carnamah Police Court that same day he was sentenced to 28 days hard labour [22]
