Died 11 July 1866 in Toodyay; buried at the Culham Cemetery in Toodyay, Western Australia [138]
His headstone was erected by his uncle Donald MACPHERSON of Glentromie Station in Victoria Plains [138]

Family Notices
"At Byeen, Toodyay, on Wednesday 11th July, after a short and painful illness, Aeneas, eldest son of Mr Duncan McPherson; deeply regretted by his surviving relatives and a large circle of friends. Aged 20 years and 9 months."
