She was a professional dressmaker and made all of the clothes, bridal dresses and bridesmaids dresses for the MALEY family [P2]
Also said to have been a seamstress and did sewing work for numerous families in and around Arrino [144]
Grew vegetables and ran poultry on their farm, and did a weekly round through Arrino selling their produce [144]
They stored the eggs in the coll of a cave, and once a week sold and sent eggs to Perth [144]
Herself and her husband were beautiful and professional singers and often sang duets at functions in Arrino and Three Springs [P2]
Rendered a vocal item at the Methodist Church Social held in Arrino on Wednesday 29 July 1931 [4: 1-Aug-1931]
Awarded 1st prize for a Crayon or Pastel Drawing in the Art section of the Three Springs Agricultural Show in 1932 [5: 30-Sep-1932]
Won 1st prizes for Wildflowers and Best Exhibit of Entirely Useless Article Made Useful Three Springs Show in 1933 [5: 29-Sep-1933]
Herself and her husband returned to Arrino by car on 21 March 1935 after spending a fortnight's holiday in Perth [5: 29-Mar-1935]
Her husband had chest pain and passed away at their home on the farm, after which she walked into Arrino to raise the alarm [P2]
Following her husband's death in 1952 she sold their farm in Arrino and retired to a Seventh Day Adventist Cottage in Perth [P2]
Resided of late at Sherwin Lodge in the Perth suburb of Rossmoyne [24]
