From The Midlands Advocate newspaper, Friday 21 July 1944:
District News - Miling
"The death of an old identity of Miling, in the person of Mr. H. Ure, occurred at the Moora Hospital on Friday 7th inst. Following a stroke he was removed in the ambulance to hospital where he lingered for about a week. - His remains wore interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the Moora cemetery on Saturday last. Deceased had reached the age of 70 years and had been a resident of the district for over fourteen years."
