From The North Midland Times newspaper, Friday 22 January 1943:
Obituary - Late Mrs. Henning
"It came as a deep shock to the residents of the Carnamah district to learn on Tuesday morning that Mrs. Henning had passed away at the North Midlands District Hospital the previous afternoon. The deceased lady had not enjoyed the best of health for years, but as she was still a comparatively young woman, the news of her death was entirely unexpected. The late Mrs. Henning was admitted to the hospital on Thursday of last week and her husband intended to take her to Perth for further medical attention as soon as she was able to travel. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon in the Anglican portion of the Three Springs cemetery, Mr. J. Watts conducting the service at the graveside."
