Enlisted in the Australian Army in Yandanooka on 1 October 1941 [16]
Gunner W20363 in the Australian Army's 29 Garrison Battalion during the Second World War [16]

Farmhand in Yandanooka from 1947 until at least 1980 [19]
In August 1946 his engagement was announced to Mary BROWN, the daughter of another Yandanooka farming family [39: 29-Aug-1946]
