     She won the 13 Years & Over Girls Running Race and the 13 Years & Over Girls Skipping Race [5]
     Tied for 1st place in the 12 Years & Over Girls Potato Race and came 3rd in the 12 Years & Over Girls Tyre Race [5: 30-Oct-1936]
After leaving school worked as a Telephonist at the Post Office in Three Springs[P295]
During her time as Telephonist in Three Springs she met local grocery shop proprietor Alan Hector FRANKLIN [P295]
