Private 104 in the Australian Imperial Force's 11th Battalion in Alexandria, Egypt and on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey [30]
Killed in Action shortly after landing upon the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey on 25 April 1915 [30]
He was initially listed as Missing in Action until a Court of Inquiry found him to have been Killed in Action on 25 April 1915 [30]
Memorialised on the Lone Pine Memorial at the Lone Pine Cemetery on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey [17]
