She wrote into The Western Mail newspaper n early 1945 requesting the words to three songs [120: 8-Feb-1945]
The three songs were "Nobody's Darling But Mine", "Coming In on a Wing and a Prayer" and "Isle of Capri" [120]
Exhibited diversely in the Coorow-Waddy Forest Districts Agricultural Society's 11th Annual Show on 15 September 1948 [5]
She won 1st prize for Fancy Scones and 2nd for Sponge Sandwich in the Under 18 Girls portion of the Cookery section [5]
In the adult's sections she won 2nd prizes for Plain Cake in Cookery and for Non-White Hen Eggs in Farm Produce [5]
Also competed in the Horses in Action section, coming 2nd for Lady's Hack ridden by lady [5: 23-Sep-1948]
Member of Waddy Forest Tennis Club - was their Most Improved Girl in 1948-49 [5: 21-Apr-1949]
She visited the W.A. Agent General's Office at Savoy House in London while in England in July 1952 [39: 20-Aug-1952]
Married Bruce David MCALPINE in 1955 [66]
Resided with her husband and later children on farmland in Latham [50]
Upon their retirement they left Latham and shifted to Geraldton [P8]
