Departed England with her husband and children on the Orvieto and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 21 March 1911 
Resided with her husband and children in Three Springs 1917-1921, and on farmland in Arrino in 1921 and 1922    
Mother of Minnie and Richard 
Died 28 April 1922 when thrown from a trap at the Railway Crossing in Arrino; buried Arrino Cemetery, Arrino 
From The Moora Herald and Midland Districts Advocate newspaper, Friday 5 May 1922:
"Mrs. Fances Lavinia Batty, a resident of Arrino, was picked up dead on a road near by, the result of a trap accident. The Coroner has dispensed with an inquest, as the circumstances pointed to the fact that death was purely accidental."
From The Moora Herald and Midland Districts Advocate newspaper, Friday 12 May 1922:
"Three Springs Notes - Mrs. Batty, wife of Mr. Batty, of Arrino, was killed last Saturday through bring thrown from a spring cart. How the accident happened is not known, as she was not found for some hours."
