Resided with his parents on the East Murchison goldfields until 1909 when they shifted to Three Springs [P106]
Along with his brothers, he was baptised by Rev. Ernest GILL, the Church of England rector in Dongara [332]
Believed to have been educated at the Three Springs State School, after which he helped his father on the farm [P106]
Later worked as a farmhand for other farmers in Three Springs, as his father's farm could not support he and his brothers [P106]
Won 1st prize for Three Cabbages at the Three Springs Day held in Three Springs on Wednesday 26 September 1917 [10: 5-Oct-1917]
Attended May BERRIGAN's 21st Birthday held at the Agricultural Hall in Three Springs on Friday 12 September 1919 [9: 19-Sep-1919]
Member of the Three Springs Cricket Club in 1920-21 [9: 21-Jan-1921]
Left the Three Springs district at the age of about 20 in C.1923 and shifted to Geraldton [P106]
He is believed to have joined the Fire Department in Geraldton, and also attended night school to further his education [P106]
Returned to Geraldton on Saturday 8 March 1930 after spending a few days with his parents in Three Springs [4: 15-Mar-1930]
Later worked as an Accountant for the Fire Department - in Geraldton and later in Perth [P106]
He was very musical and played the banjo, violin, piano and saxophone [P2]
In 1939 he was living at 108 Petra Street in the Perth suburb of Fremantle [4: 21-Oct-1939]
Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Inglewood [2]
Died 30 January 1971; ashes interred Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Lawn 2, Niche Wall, W2, 88) [2]
