From The North Midlands Times, Friday 3 January 1936:
"The Late Mr. Henry Cousins - The death occurred in Perth on Friday, December 27, of Mr. William Henry (Harry) Cousin of Arrino. Mr. Cousins was born in this State in 1858, and has been resident in Arrino for the past thirty years, most of which time has been spent on the farm of his son, Mr. A. H. Cousins. The deceased was one of Arrino's oldest and most respected citizens and his death will be mourned by a large circle of friends and relatives."

From The Irwin Index newspaper, Saturday 11 January 1936:
"Death of Arrino Identity - It is with extreme regret that we record the death of an old and highly respected identity of the Arrino district in the person of Mr. W. H. Cousins, the sad event having occurred in Perth on December 27th. The late Mr. Cousins was a native of Western Australia, and at the time of his death was 77 years of age. He spent almost half of his life at Arrino, in which district his son (Mr. A. H. Cousins) is still following farming pursuits, and it is only quite recently that the deceased gentleman left Arrino to reside in the metropolitan area."
