She was baptised at the Methodist Church in the Perth suburb of Cottesloe on 24 January 1937 [84]
Educated at the Coorow State School in Coorow, and then at Perth Girls High School in Perth [P335]
Exhibited in the Education section of the Carnamah District Agricultural Society's Annual Show on 12 September 1946 [5]
     She was awarded 1st prize for Standard IV Needlework and a 2nd prize for Standard IV Handwriting [5: 20-Sep-1946]
In 1946, 1947 and 1948 she won prizes in the Educational section of the annual Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show [5: 11-Oct-1946]
     Won for Standard IV Needlework, 2nd for Standard IV Handwriting and 1st for Standards III & IV Design for Space in 1946 [5]
     In 1947 she received 2nd for Standard V Handwriting and for Standard V Needlework showing setting of gathers [5: 12-Sep-1947]
     Won four 1sts for Standard VI in 1948 for Handwriting, Needlework, Design Drawing and Colour Poster Drawing [5: 23-Sep-1948]
Also exhibited in the Vegetable section of the Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show in 1947, winning 2nd prize for Carrots [5: 12-Sep-1947]

Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Attadale [2]

Died 22 January 1983; ashes interred at the Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth (Crematorium Rose Gardens, 8, 72) [2]

From The North Midland Times newspaper, Friday 21 February 1936:
"Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Geo. Battersby, of Coorow, on the birth of a daughter. The baby was born at the Carnamah Hospital on Friday, February 14."
