They departed from Fremantle, Western Australia on the steamship Miltiades and arrived in London, England on 30 October 1919 [204]
He was living with his parents and brothers on his uncle's Town Farm in Ryhope, Sunderland, England in 1921 [20]
In 1939 he was a Builder's Joiner and was living with his parents at 17 Rowlandson Terrace in Sunderland, Durham, England [412]

Births. NELSON.
"On August 25 at Nurse Bevan's Kialla, 700 Beaufort-street, Mount Lawley, to Mr and Mrs A. D. Nelson of Carnamah - a son. Both well."
