In 1901 she was working as a domestic servant for Thomas and Beatrice MALCOLM at 2 Acacia Parade in Plumstead, London [20]
Married Robert Charles LEWIS in 1910 in London, England [21]
Departed London, England on the steamship Australind and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 4 November 1911 [70]
Resided with her husband and children on Petan Farm in Winchester 1917-1918 and on Hillside Farm in Gunyidi 1919-1922 [50]
Resided with her husband and children on William B. MITCHELL's farm in Dudawa, East Arrino 1922-1929 [6] [19] [P2]
Resided in Arrino with her husband until his death at the age of 39 years on 29 November 1929 [2]
Following her husband's death herself and her eight children shifted to a farmhouse not far from the Arrino townsite [P2]
They later moved into a house within the Arrino townsite, and she worked doing house-cleaning and washing [P2]
For one of her jobs she did washing by hand for a couple with nine children, after which she walked for two miles to get home [P2]
Among the homes she cleaned was the farmhouse of Dudawa farmer William D. S. SMITH [P2]
Donated one of the prizes for the Children's Fancy Dress Ball held in Arrino on Tuesday 12 September 1933 [5: 15-Sep-1933]
In March 1934 she was a patient at the Westminster Hospital in Perth, suffering from a strained hip [5: 16-Mar-1934]
After a number of months absence due to ill health she returned to Arrino on Wednesday 5 September 1934 [5: 14-Sep-1934]
Among those who protested in 1935 against the Three Springs Road Board spending rates on tennis courts in Arrino [5: 27-Sep-1935]
Obviously changed her mind as she later signed a petition in support of the Road Board constructing new courts in Arrino [5: 1-Nov-1935]
Along with her children left Arrino by car on Friday 24 January 1936 and shifted to Perth [5: 31-Jan-1936]
Attended the funeral of Arrino resident Mrs Ellen DEE at the Three Springs Cemetery on 16 August 1939 [4: 19-Aug-1939]
She is believed to have left Arrino during or shortly after the Second World War[P2]
Resided of late in the Perth suburb of East Fremantle [2]
Mother of Robert, Dorothy, Mary, David, Maurice, Albert, Jack and Pearl [P2]
Died 21 July 1966; ashes buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Anglican, OA, 282) [2]
