He wrote a letter to the Uncle Bob section of The Midlands Advertiser newspaper, which was published on 1 November 1907 [9]
In his letter wrote they were going to get some young turkeys and "I wish we had a school as I would like to go very much" [9]
Sang a song at the Social hosted by Charlie and Winifred THOMAS at the schoolroom in Three Springs on 30 July 1910 [9: 12-Aug-1910]
