Her employer owned a farm in Carnamah and during her employment she met his Carnamah neighbour Dick READING [P144]
Later worked as a photo developer for The West Australian newspaper in Perth [P144]
Met her husband to be for one week a year for seven years before they married [P144]
Married Dick READING on Wednesday 2 October 1935 at Saint Brigid's Church in Perth [5: 11-Oct-1935]
Their wedding reception was held at her mother's home in Perth, after which they spent their honeymoon in Bunbury [5: 11-Oct-1935]
Resided on Wellmeadow Farm near Five Gums in Carnamah 1935-1974 [P144]
Her husband had a new house erected for them on his farm near Five Gums at a cost of £350 [P144]

On 27 August 1974 left Wellmeadow Farm and shifted to the Lady Brand Lodge in Three Springs [P144]
Guest Speaker at the "Day of Pioneers" luncheon at the Carnamah Shire Council Chambers on 13 October 1982 [7: page 251]
In April 1989 shifted to the North Midlands District Hospital in Three Springs, where she died aged 88 years [P144]
