     Travelled from Carnamah to Perth to seek medical attention on the early morning train on Wednesday 11 February 1942 [5: 13-Feb-1942]
     Along with his wife, their sons and Jim and Lavinia DONEY of Coorow, spent Christmas of 1942 in Dongara [5: 8-Jan-1943]
By August 1943 they had left Carnamah and he was working as a labourer in Coorow [19]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Ashfield [2]
Died 24 April 1968; buried Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Roman Catholic, ZF, 314) [2]
