From The North Midland Times newspaper, Friday 4 February 1938:
Obituary - Late Ronald Fogarty
"It is with extreme regret that we record the death of Ronald James, the youngest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. R. J. Fogarty, of Three Springs. The deceased child, who was only 11 years of age passed away on Monday January 31 at Subiaco. A father, two brothers Norman and Bruce, and four sisters Beryl, Joyce, Joan and Barbara are left to mourn their loss. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the place of interment being the Church of England portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery."

"The friends of Mr. R. J. Fogarty of Three Springs, will regret to learn that his youngest son (Master Ronald Fogarty) died at the Children's Hospital in Perth on Monday night last following an operation for appendicitis."

Funerals - The Late R. J. Fogarty
    "The funeral of Master Ronald James Fogarty, youngest son of Mr. R. J. Fogarty and the late Mrs. H. Fogarty, of Three Springs, took place in the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery on Tuesday, February 1 in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends. The officiating  clergyman was the Rev. Mr. Jaquet, who was a resident of Three springs for many years.
The chief mourners were Mr. R. J. Fogarty (father), Norman (brother), Beryl (sister) and Joan (sister). The pall-bearers were Mr. J. K. Hebiton, jun., Mr. R. Carter, Mr. H. Pettltt, and Mr. H. Hunter.
     Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. E. Fogarty (Perenjori), Mrs. Wheelock, Mr. and Mrs. W. Fogarty, Mr. D. J. Selway. Mr. Criddle, Mr. C. Hope, Mr. Baxter. Mr. Don Hunt, Mr. P. Fogarty, Mrs. C. Luscombe, Miss Gordon, Miss Kingston, Mrs. McDowall. Mr. Gray, Mrs. Connaughton, Mr. and Mrs. Dee and family.
     Many beautiful wreaths were received from his father, brothers and sister. Aunt Jeanet, Aunt Florrence and Uncle Will, Mrs. E. Fogarty (Pereniori). Mr. and Mrs. Clem Grant, Dr. and Mrs. Mayrhofer. Mr. and Mrs. Black, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Jordan. D. Mackay. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Selway, the Hebiton family, Mrs. Abe Wilton and Mrs. Brimson, Chef and John, the Matron, nurses and staff of the Three Springs Hospital, Mr. Q. Harris, Mrs. Oliver and family. Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Wood, Miss M. Fogarty, the Co-operative Stores, the Scholars of the Three Springs State School, Mr. and Mrs. W. Knapp. Mrs Blackiston and family, L. Gray and C. M. Connoughton, the staff of St. George's Mansions, Mr. and Mrs. Dee and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cole and family, Miss Lal Petitt, Mrs. McDowell, Miss A. Gordon, Miss M. Kingston, Mr. and Mrs. Luscombe and family."
