Ten years later he was working as a 'Farm Lad' and was living with his parents and eight siblings in Basingstoke, Hampshire [20]

Following the death of his wife in 1935 he shifted with his son Frederick and daughter Margaret to the Perth suburb of Kenwick [P108]
In or near 1936 or 1937 they left Kenwick and moved to a small farm in Mandurah, where he resided until his death in 1943 [P108]
