Resided with her parents on Meelyah Farm in Gunyidi 1908-1917 [9: 25-Oct-1907] [19]
In September 1917 he wrote to the Aunt Mary column of The Western Mail newspaper [120: 19-Oct-1917]
In his letter he mentioned he was seven years old but had never been to school, instead being taught by his mother [120]
He also mentioned a nice horse of theirs died and they were going to try and give its foal cow's milk [120]
