Married "Wally" Walter Edward LOCKWOOD by special license at Saint George's Cathedral in Perth on 17 March 1916 [39: 17-Apr-1916]
When they wed her husband was a Private in the Australian Imperial Force and embarked for service abroad two weeks later [30]
In 1917 she resided at 46 Orient Street in South Fremantle and then at 24 Marmion Street in East Fremantle [30: item 8197971] [50]
Following her husband's return they lived at 114 East Street, Fremantle and later at 158 Glyde Street, Fremantle [50]
She and her husband purchased Gov Lots 69 and 70 on the west side of the Carnamah townsite on 9 July 1926 [81: 18-Jul-1926]
Their two blocks in Carnamah were both eight acres in size and cost £15 each [81: 18-Jul-1926]
Resided in Carnamah with her husband and their two sons 1927-1930 [P40]
She worked for farmer and diary proprietor Mrs Agnes S. SHARP on Yarrow Farm in Carnamah [P27]
Her family revealed she was bunted by a ram while hanging out the washing and died from septicemia [P40]
Alternatively James H. TAYLOR, who was twelve at the time, said she died from internal injuries after being tossed by a bull [P27]

Social and Personal
"Quite a gloom spread over Carnamah last weekend, when it became known that Mrs. W. Lockwood, of Carnamah, had passed away at the Perth Hospital after a brief illness. Deceased is survived by a husband and two children."
