Deaths at Three Springs
"Two deaths occurred at Three Springs on Thursday of last week, the deceased persons being old and highly respected residents of the district in Mr George Charles Franklin and Mrs Selina May Leonard. The late Mr Franklin, who was one of the early settlers of Three Springs, was seventy seven years of age, and is survived by a widow and three sons and one daughter. The late Mrs Leonard, who is survived by her husband, was the mother of a large family comprising five sons and five daughters, other district relatives being twenty six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Both funerals took place at Three Springs on Saturday last."
